Pokéllectr

These terms apply when you use the Pokéllectr app. By using it, you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the app.

The short version. Scanning is free. Pro is paid, through Google Play, and you can cancel it there. Prices in the app are estimates, not valuations. The grade checker is a guess from a photograph, not a grade. When you list a card, you are the seller — we write the listing, you decide to send it.

Who you are dealing with

Pokéllectr is part of KrisCreates, a trading name of AlfieLucas Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, of 10 Alexandra Road, Bulwark, Chepstow, NP16 5QU, United Kingdom. "We" and "us" below mean that company.

Using the app

You may use Pokéllectr for your own collecting and selling. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the app or its card database, take it apart to extract that database, or use it to break the law or the rules of a marketplace you sell on.

You need to be old enough to hold the accounts the app relies on — a Google account, and an eBay account if you link one. If you are under 18, please ask a parent before buying anything.

Pokéllectr Pro

Scanning your cards is free and will stay free. Pro covers the rest: sending listings to marketplaces, the grade checker, price history, pack sessions and backup.

Pro is sold through Google Play, monthly, yearly, or once. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy.
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel in the Google Play Store, not in the app — cancelling removes future renewals, not the time you have already paid for.
Refunds are handled by Google under Google Play's refund policy. Your legal rights as a consumer are unaffected.
If a Pro feature stops working for a long stretch because of something we did, contact us and we will sort it out.

Prices and card values

The values in the app come from public market data and are an estimate of what a card has been selling for. They are not a valuation, an appraisal, or a promise that anyone will pay that. Prices move, data goes stale, and a card in your hand may be worth more or less than the figure on the screen. Use your own judgement before you buy or sell.

The grade checker

The grade checker measures centring and looks for wear in photographs you take. It gives a best guess at what a grading company might say. It is not a grade, it is not affiliated with PSA, BGS, CGC or any grader, and it is not a reason on its own to pay to have a card graded.

Selling and marketplaces

Pokéllectr writes listings from what it has scanned and, if you connect an account, can send them to that marketplace on your behalf. When it does:

You are the seller. The listing, the description, the price and the sale are yours, along with any fees, taxes and obligations that come with them.
You see every price before anything is sent. Nothing is listed without you choosing to list it.
You are responsible for following that marketplace's own rules, and for making sure a listing is accurate before you send it.
We cannot control what a marketplace does with a listing, and we are not responsible for their decisions, outages, fees or account actions.
You can disconnect a linked account at any time in the app.

eBay, Cardmarket, TCGplayer and Whatnot are trademarks of their respective owners. They are named here only to describe what Pokéllectr can export to or list on. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any of them.

Your collection and your account

Your collection lives on your phone. Backup is optional and only happens if you sign in. What we hold, and how to delete it, is set out in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time, in the app or at this page.

Keep your own backups of anything you would be upset to lose. We take care, but no service is perfect.

Availability

We may change, suspend or stop parts of the app, and we may update it. If we ever stop the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and a way to get your collection out. We may suspend an account that is being used to break these terms.

Liability

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be excluded. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Beyond that, we are not liable for money you lost on a card, a sale that went badly, a price that turned out to be wrong, a grade that did not match, or anything a marketplace did. Where liability can be limited, it is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the problem arose.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and anything significant will be mentioned in the app.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you keep the protection of your local consumer law.
