Pokéllectr

Pokéllectr is part of KrisCreates, a trading name of AlfieLucas Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, of 10 Alexandra Road, Bulwark, Chepstow, NP16 5QU, United Kingdom. This page explains, in plain words, what the app does with information — which is deliberately as little as possible.

The short version. Your collection lives on your phone. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose to sign in for backup. If you do, we keep your name, email and your collection so we can give it back to you — and you can delete all of it with one tap. We do not sell data, show adverts, or track you.

What stays on your phone

Your collection: the cards you have scanned or added, how many, and what they were worth when you looked.
Your settings, such as dark mode and which currency you prefer.
Photos taken by the scanner and the grade checker are processed on the phone and deleted straight afterwards. They are not uploaded.

The camera is used only to read cards. The photo library is used only when you choose to pick a photo yourself.

What we hold if you sign in

Backup is optional. If you sign in with Google, the app sends Google's sign-in confirmation to our own server (hosted in Europe) so we know it is you. We then keep:

Your name, email address and profile picture, as provided by Google.
A copy of your collection, each time you tap Back up now. We keep the last few copies so a bad backup can be undone.

We do not receive your Google password, and we cannot see anything else in your Google account.

What we do not do

No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
No analytics or tracking of how you use the app.
No selling or sharing of your information with anyone.
No location.

Prices and card data

Card names, images and prices come from public card-price services. When the app looks up a price, that service sees an ordinary web request from your phone and nothing about you.

Pro subscriptions

Purchases are handled by Google Play. We never see your payment details. A service called RevenueCat confirms with Google whether your purchase is active; it receives an anonymous identifier for your installation and the purchase record, nothing more.

Children

Pokéllectr is a general card-collecting app that people of all ages enjoy. It collects no personal information from anyone unless they sign in for backup, which requires a Google account. Parents or guardians who would like a child's account and backups removed can do so from within the app, or by emailing us.

Deleting your data

In the app: Account → Delete my account and backups. This removes your account and every backup from our server immediately. Your collection on the phone is unaffected. Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on the phone.

You can also email us and we will delete your account within 7 days.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). To exercise any of these, email us.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it. Anything significant will be mentioned in the app.
